If you are looking for a church home for a weekend, a summer or year-round, please join us, and together we'll grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Children: Infant nursery available. Sunday School for all children pre-school through grade 6. Children through grade 6 begin in worship with their families, including a children's message, and are accompanied to Sunday School before the sermon.

Youth: Active youth groups grades 7-12, which meet through the year for fellowship, fun, study and mission. Also, confirmation classes offered.

Adults: Bible Studies and Covenant Groups are scheduled through the year.

United Methodist Women:
Our women (and men) join for two rummage sales per year, and two crafts bazaars, for the fellowship and for mission. Several women's circles meet through the year for fellowship, study and mission.

Mission: we are in mission to our community, the nation and the world, including food collection, preparing and serving in the soup kitchen, annual youth and adult mission trip, and more.

And more! Contact us or join us for worship!

Church History

Post Card St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, built in 1887, was the first Spring Lake church to be open year-round. Its original trustees included some of the founders, early developers and merchants of Spring Lake who stayed throughout the winter months. Their number included William and John Lucas (Spring Lake Development Company), O.H. Brown (merchant and former mayor), William Trout, E.V. Patterson (a former mayor) and R.N. Carson. Although these men prospered in their careers and some became generous benefactors to Spring Lake, the appearance of St. Andrew’s reflects the practical, mercantile sensibility of most of its founders.

Located at Fourth and West Lake Avenues, St. Andrew’s is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
