The Spring Lake Italian Festival is being held on Saturday, October 1st from noon till 5:00 p.m. on Morris Avenue, which will be closed to traffic from Third Avenue to Fourth Avenue.
BELOW IS WHAT HAPPENED IN 2015
Wine and Beer tent featuring Italian red and white wine and both Peroni an Italian choice and domestic beer. Entertainment for the whole family with pony rides, face painting and balloon twisting, Gaminride (mobile video arcade) is a favorite – not to mention a stilt walker and a Juggler. All of these activities are free. Oh, can’t forget the Christopher Columbus will be joining us as well!
For the first time we are having a caricature artist - just like you find on a stroll in Paris!! (this is not free – he will be charging a fee).
Some additional vendors will be joining in the fun: Doggie Delights, It’s Gravy not Sauce, Carter & Cavero Olive Oil, Trappers Honey, L & B Cigars, a professional Glass Blower, and maybe a beautiful Italian car or 2.
Activities for the kid’s will be pony rides, face painting, balloon twisting, an amazing juggler as well as a stilt walker extraordinaire! Many Spring Lake Chamber member businesses will be featuring their goods with a booth on Morris as well as some fun vendors like Glitter Hoops, who will present a hula hoop demonstration and sand art to delight visitors of all ages.
A special feature this year will be –“an Damsha Mor” – The Big Dance which will feature Irish Step dancing with Andrew Vickers Club Rince, Devrin School of Dance from Brielle and the Shea Jennings School of Irish Dance from Manasquan. We are delighted to announce that Ellen Anderson, former step dancing champion and featured fiddler with Six Mile Cross, will be assisting the student dancers.
A special event being held at 2:00 p.m. will be our very first Cannoli Eating Contest featuring Mayor Jennifer Naughton, Police Chief Ed Kerr, Boro Administrator Bryan Dempsey, Freeholder Thomas Arnone, Citizen of the Year Margie Brahn and the list goes on and on.

Design Domaine Gallery at 306 Morris Avenue will be featuring Nicolo Sturiano, famously known nationally as H. Hargrove will be painting in oil outside in front of the Gallery while inside Marilyn & Larry Rosenthal will be serving Italian wine.
The juried Art Walk will be taking place on Third Avenue – do not miss the Women’s Club of Spring Lake presenting their home made bake sale on the corner of 3rd & Morris (Wells Fargo) Also on Third – Waterlily Fashions will be hosting a 15% off sale to honor Columbus Day.
